Connecticut State Police to Step Up Patrols for Super Bowl

As is usually the case for most major holidays and events, the Connecticut State Police will be stepping up patrols and aggressively pursuing drunk drivers over the Super Bowl weekend.  The CT State Police officials warn that Super Bowl Sunday has been one of the most dangerous days on the roads and highways of the state due to impaired, driving-related accidents.  On Super Bowl Sunday in 2014, State Troopers arrested seven individuals for DUI.  This year figures to include considerably more police activity given the involvement of the New England Patriots in this years big game.  For more information, please click through and read the Stamford Daily Voice article: http://stamford.dailyvoice.com/police-fire/connecticut-state-police-plan-step-patrols-super-bowl
